The plaintiff submitted that, since 2008, she and the defendant had quarrelled often because:

1. the defendant was frequently duplicitous, confessing to the plaintiff about his most recent extra-marital affair; and
2. if arguing with the plaintiff, the defendant would resort to profane language, once hitting the plaintiff.

Before the court, the plaintiff submitted that she wished to withdraw her claim, acknowledging the she and the defendant had reconciled their differences. The court acceded to the plaintiff's decision.
